Turmeric is the newest ‘super food’ and rightly so – it has amazing health benefits and adds color and depth to a dish. As you know here on Ahu Eats I love using turmeric as well – in Adasi (Persian Lentil Soup) to one of my weeknight staples, the Slow Cooker Black Bean Soup to basic Quinoa recipe, it’s a staple for me!

I have bad arthritis in my knee, and I’m not even 45. Well a friend suggested Turmeric and it has made a real difference!!! I’m excited to try some ways to put it more into my food, which could help my family also! Thanks for the ideas!

I’ve never used Turmeric before but based on the health benefits outlined and the great round up of recipes I will have to give it a try. Maybe start with the Orange Turmeric Margaritas 🙂
